After two years of limited travel, because of the pandemic, we finally planned a trip to St. Augustine, Florida.  Neither mom or I had visited before so it was a perfect choice for an adventure in exploration and relaxation. We stayed at an Air-BnB in St Augustine Beach, just a block and a half from the beach.  It is in a quiet area, with many small shops and restaurants along the main road.  The neighborhood streets are set in a grid so it is easy to get around.  Even though the neighborhood lacks sidewalks, the area is quiet enough that it is safe to walk.  There are several small “parkettes” sprinkled throughout with pet cleanup stations and trashcans.  The walk to the beach from the house where we stayed was short and sweet so we went everyday 😁.

The house offered a nice, quiet and fully furnished space which was clean and comfortable.  With two bedrooms and one bath, a full kitchen with most of the essential, we were able to settle in and relax, or go out and explore as we pleased.

After many crazy months filled with unknowns and uncertainty, we were able to escape to the beach to refresh our spirits and our attitudes.  Thank you Mom for coming along on this journey.  It was lovely experience.

Enjoy the slide show!!! 😁
